If you watched the new episode last Thursday, a prime example of my "poor acting" comment showed up. When Mark is talking to the black FBI guy in the bar, and he yells, "Because I was LOADED!" I almost cracked up. It's like a want to know what happens in the show, but it plays out in such a wacky way.

See, and that is the thing. I wanted to see the show do well, but the lack of direction seems to hurt it at every turn. No one seems to be doing anything logical. If you had a way to change a horrible future, wouldn't you do it? Of course you would, and that is why I felt like screaming at the TV when I saw John Cho's character make the decision to let the soon to be customs agent off the hook. Bust his ass and change the future.

I'll probably stick with it through the first season, and if it doesn't grab me by then, I might give up on it.

Another thing I have to touch on is the poor acting. All of the characters, guests and regulars, feel so forced. None of their lines have any feeling, and I hate how each character does nothing radical to change their future.

The major plot points are the only things that keep me coming back. The three main things I'm looking forward to are what caused the flash forward, how Mark throwing his daughter's friendship bracelet in the fire is going to change things, and what is going to happen on the day six months from now that everyone saw.

I think it's already safe to say that this show will never fill Lost's shoes, but I won't lose all hope just yet.
